Support Worker – Liverpool
Our services have been rated Outstanding by the CQC.
We're looking for a dedicated Support Worker to provide personalised assistance to a friendly gentleman living in Liverpool. This is a real opportunity to make a difference in someone's daily life while building a meaningful working relationship.
About the Person You'll Support
You'll be working with a laid-back and easy-going gentleman who is a BSL user. He enjoys watching football, history, TV, and getting out in the community. He values consistency, a calm approach, and someone who is willing to learn his individual communication style - including home signs. He's looking for someone who can match his pace and build a genuine, trusted relationship with him.
Your Role Will Include
Personal care and support with daily routines
Medication prompting and administration
Meal preparation and nutrition support
Communication support, including BSL or home signs (or a willingness to learn)
Assistance with travel and getting out into the community
Support with household tasks and maintaining his home
Sensory and social support
Building a warm, trusting, and consistent relationship
What Makes a Great Match
The ideal candidate will be calm, patient, and able to take things at his pace. Male applicants only (due to service user needs). A full valid UK driving licence is essential. You'll understand that everyone communicates differently and be committed to learning the best ways to support his independence and wellbeing. Experience as a Support Worker is desirable, and Deaf awareness is valued, though full BSL training is provided.
If you have a warm, positive character and genuinely care about making a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
