Support Worker – Preston

We're looking for a dedicated Support Worker to provide personalised assistance to a friendly 56-year-old gentleman living in Preston. This is a real opportunity to make a difference in someone's daily life while building a meaningful working relationship.
About the Person You'll Support
You'll be working with a warm and friendly gentleman who is a BSL user and has autism. He values clear communication, consistency, and a supportive approach to daily living. He's looking for someone who can work alongside him with patience, understanding, and genuine respect for his independence.
Your Role Will Include
Meal planning, preparation, and support during mealtimes
Communication support, including BSL (or a willingness to learn)
Assistance with travel and getting out into the community
Support with household tasks and maintaining his home
Helping him engage with activities he enjoys
Promoting independence and person-centred support
