Support Worker – Preston

We're looking for a dedicated Support Worker to provide personalised assistance to a friendly 56-year-old gentleman living in Preston. This is a real opportunity to make a difference in someone's daily life while building a meaningful working relationship.

About the Person You'll Support

You'll be working with a warm and friendly gentleman who is a BSL user and has autism. He values clear communication, consistency, and a supportive approach to daily living. He's looking for someone who can work alongside him with patience, understanding, and genuine respect for his independence.

Your Role Will Include

• Meal planning, preparation, and support during mealtimes

• Communication support, including BSL (or a willingness to learn)

• Assistance with travel and getting out into the community

• Support with household tasks and maintaining his home

• Helping him engage with activities he enjoys

• Promoting independence and person-centred support
