Support Worker – Birkenhead (Female Applicants Only)
SEA Support Services are looking for a calm, patient, and skilled BSL user to support a wonderful 61-year-old Deaf woman in the Birkenhead area. You'll be providing person-centred support to help her live her life to the fullest, maintaining her independence and engaging in the activities she loves.
About the Client
She is a bubbly, chatty, and funny lady who loves meaningful connections with people. She enjoys shopping, seeing friends, and watching the news. She has a real passion for birds and history - she loves learning new facts and appreciates when you take the time to explain interesting things to her.
She enjoys one-to-one conversations about the past, family, and current events, and loves to draw and learn from YouTube tutorials. She values clear communication, patience, and punctuality, and takes pride in her independence with medication and managing her household admin.
Important to know: She has arthritis affecting her knees and feet, so patience is essential when she is standing or getting in and out of the shower. She thrives around positive people - this is crucial for her mental wellbeing.
